I’m Josh. I photograph nebulae and galaxies from my backyard, one clear night and one stack of light at a time. This is where the finished images, field notes, and little lessons along the way live.
Featured image · IC 63, The Ghost of CassiopeiaEvery image starts with a simple ritual: set up, find the target, and let the telescope gather photons while the sky slowly turns. Later comes the careful work of stacking and processing—bringing out faint structure while trying to keep the image honest.
This site follows both sides of that process: the finished view and the nights that made it possible.
